Plan of F.A.T.

The first step is the DECISION to change your lifestyle and habits. The correct MODIFICATION will lead to TRANSFORMATION. The second step after your DECISION is to get a VISION. Actually seeing yourself not as you are, but as you will become. These are the foundational steps that give you a solid place to work from as you progress. Without completing these steps everything is temporary and subject to reversion, which is what happens 95% of the time. The odds do not favor complete and lasting change when it pertains to our eating habits! After this is accomplished you will find that you are not necessarily attracted to the latest fad diet or the coolest late night infomercial. Your approach will be more holistic and mature. More than likely you will gather information and begin to use a hybrid plan that will continually be under modification as you learn more and as your body responds differently as you go along. As you may see by now the third step is the formulation of a PLAN of ACTION. Begin "harvesting" information. I like to read as much as possible, as well as talking to trainers and people who know about nutrition. The adage "show me your friends and I will show you your future" is so relevant here.I try to be around people who have gone where I am going who know more than I know and who will encourage me. Life style changes will turn us into strangers to our old friends and family, which can result in their lack of acceptance. As you plan, plan on being around the right people.
Make your DECISION final, focus the VISION of yourself on what you want to be and then begin to PLAN.
